Our story
Known as the consummate professional, Taylor Beech began his fitness training endeavors back in the mid 90s.
Turning his everyday passion into a profitable career through his unparalleled passion of helping others Taylor took on the role as Personal Training Manager of the busiest club in Canada turning monthly personal training sales around from a mere $30,000 to over $120,000 a month in only 6 months.
The dramatic increase in sales was directly attributed to the ability to package a service that was worthy of developing a long term retention of clientele. The programming success revolves around a high end service approach that reflects the expectations of its clients, leading edge exercise prescription that guarantees results and a fresh perspective on the psychology of reaching goals and the accountability systems to follow through.
In a nutshell, the training works and was taught successfully to a new breed of trainers to implement under Taylor’s leadership.
Taylor saw the old “big box” way of running a fitness club as ineffective. These clubs offered an excess of conventional machines. There was little emphasis placed on member involvement, but rather, their focus was on convincing members that results were achieved through an endless series of repetitious, often boring exercises, promoted as the most efficient way to exercise.
Little time was spent worrying about whether you were actually using the club and more time was spent on marketing to the masses to fill the spaces left behind by those that quit within 3 months.
Taylor decided it was time to open a new type of facility, which has been called a fusion of systems, bridging the gap between traditional health club and an elite training studio. The original Vitality Fitness Studio opened in Guelph Ontario in 2004.
It was designed to offer the latest in fitness and performance training in an intimate and private environment which would provide guidance, convenience, a high end service and a comfortable atmosphere dedicated to introducing clients to new, more efficient methods of exercise in order to keep them engaged in their workout regimens, whether training for health, image or sports.
Adding a strong focus on goal setting, nutrition counseling, and accountability systems the clients of Vitality Fitness are fully prepared to realize the results they want.
Our goal is to simply provide an intimate atmosphere that would introduce all types of fitness levels and individuals to what we feel is a ‘better way to exercise and train for results’ whether for sports, aesthetics, or well-being. We want our clients to be ‘entertained with fitness’ in a manner that keeps them involved in fitness and sports, and continue to live an active lifestyle well into their adult lives.

We provide professional coaching and services that address all components of fitness in order to look, feel, and perform your best.
We believe there is more to fitness than countless hours on a stationary machine or allowing a trainer to count repetitions while you repeat the same old routine. We train to allow ourselves the opportunity to live life to its fullest.
To us fitness is about being up on your feet, moving in multiple directions, getting stronger in your core, and exercising by replicating many “real life” movements. Exercising in this manner, along with a properly designed nutrition plan and accountability system, will help ensure fitness and performance well into your adult life!
