Here's a free sample chapter for you:

Mental Preparation
Achieving major goals such as transforming your body is done by breaking it down into manageable pieces.

Looking at every step of your journey all at once can be a daunting task and is not useful in getting you to move to action. The steps outlined in this chapter however, are designed to build momentum.

Is it not easy to set your goals? Of course it is. You don’t even need to break a sweat or change your clothes.

Don’t think about grocery shopping; don’t think about preparing your food or scheduling your week just yet. All you have to do is pick your target, take aim and set your personal and powerful goals.

You know what happens when you finish your goal setting exercise don’t you? You get excited and feel an influx of energy.

I am not sure exactly how to describe it other than you feel lighter, happier and almost like you can’t sit still. You have actually started this new journey, this new chapter in your life and you know it.

You have now captured the excitement and energy to make your shopping list and take a trip to the grocery store.

Grocery shopping is something you do every day, but it has never been this enjoyable. Move through the store like a soldier but with one task, "Get the items on your list as quickly as possible and get out".

You’re now at home and start preparing your food for the week. Cook a big pot of rice and cut up some vegetables. Cook an entire baking sheet of fish and grill some chicken.

Save time by opening up a few cans of tuna at once, add some mustard to drastically cut down on the amount of fat in mayonnaise you’d normally use, add some diced green onions and celery, then throw in a bit of dill for a great new taste - don’t worry, I’ll give a lot more tips in Chapter 3.

By this point you have done so many important steps towards your leaner, stronger and healthier body and you haven’t even thought about working out… until now.

Mental preparation is very important for not only getting the workout in, but making sure that you have an intense session. After you have looked at your week and picked the 3 to 4 times when you can train, turn your attention solely to two things. One is the next training session you have and two, is your Ultimate goal. That’s it!

If you can focus your thoughts like a laser on these two things, you will ensure adherence and a quality training session. Know that by doing the next workout you are one step closer to the body and life that you want.

Don’t think of your workout as a whole, but rather think of it in parts.

Walk yourself through it in your mind’s eye. See yourself going through the routine, each set, every rep. Tell yourself that it is going to be a good workout. See yourself training with intensity and focus.

This mental movie should play many times a day and into your warm-up.

You may have seen Olympic lifters or any athlete for that matter, enter into an almost trance like state before their event.

They are visualizing themselves as successful, breaking records, winning their event. The same should be for you, but you are thinking about your ultimate goals. Success for you means an intense and energizing workout.

These step-by-step instructions are going to carry throughout and will help move you closer and closer to your ultimate goal. You will shift to a place where thousands of others have crossed over to. It is a place where you don’t have to work out or even need to.

It is a wonderful place that you live every day, a place where you
get to work out, you want to train. Training is something that you enjoy and look forward to.

Regardless of what your goals are, which will change from time to time, you will exercise simply because of the way it makes you feel.
